This Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for HVAC design (airside, hydronic, steam) for a wide variety of multi-disciplinary (A&E) project types in the following market sectors; Mission Critical, Healthcare, Utility Plant and campus distribution, Corporate Commercial, and Laboratories. Project Manager responsibilities for engineering-prime projects as well as client interface, generate and track project delivery schedule, and develop and allocate fees for mechanical engineering work;Coordinate with MEP department heads for resource allocation;Track budgets throughout design;Perform engineering studies for highly technical clients whose details include but are not limited to payback analyses, knowledge of industry trends, and local contractor and maintenance expertise;Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents, and narratives for non-technical audience explaining engineering concepts to facilitate decision-making;Oversee load calculations, develop system applications as well as engineering program coordination;Coordinate with all trades, including architectural, structural and civil;Signing and sealing contract documents;Mentorship, both continual as well as presentations for in-house continuing education program.

- Provide Instrumentation and Controls Engineering design and specify I&C systems for high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, chemical processing, pharmaceutical, water and waste-water processing facilities;- Prepare wiring and raceway routing plans, instrument data sheets, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID), loop wiring diagrams, PLC/DCS wiring diagrams, instrument installation plans and details, logic diagrams, sequences of operation, input/output databases and additional documentation as necessary;- Develop electrical designs from concept through construction including preparing one-line/three-line diagrams, circuit schedules and directories, equipment and raceway routing plans, lighting designs, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID), loop wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, sequences of operation, input/output databases, and construction specifications;- Support development, administration, and execution of I&C and Electrical execution plans for projects;- Apply engineering principles and practices to diverse design and design/build projects;- Interface with customers to manage project delivery;- Perform team building exercises for multi-discipline project initiation;- Candidate must be able to meet badging requirements for client sites, including passing a background check.
