Responsibilities

  • The Project Engineer will be responsible for process systems, process-mechanical, Bulk Gas delivery and PSSS (VHP/Gas/Chemical), Industrial Waste lift, collection and treatment, and UPW (make-up, primary, and polish loop) systems;
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects throughout all phases including programming, schematic, design development, constructions documents, construction administration and project close-out;
  • Project Manager for engineering-prime projects. PM duties include:
    • Client interface
    • Generate and track project delivery schedule
    • Develop and allocate fees for engineering work
    • Tracking budgets throughout design
  • Facilitate design of engineering plans from preliminary through construction phases;
  • Perform analysis and design of industrial buildings/projects;
  • Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents, and narratives for non-technical audience explaining engineering concepts to facilitate decision-making;
  • Review and produce plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes, standards and guidelines;
  • Seal construction documents;
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients, multi-discipline teams, contractors and governmental agency personnel.

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemical Engineering;
  • 10-15 years of experience with process, waste, and ultrapure water (UPW) systems in the semiconductor, petrochemical, or bio/pharmaceutical industries;
  • Experience as the primary engineering manging multiple clients as a project manager or engineering lead;
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the U.S;
  • Familiar with Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
