Responsible for the day-to-day production and management of technical documentation of projects from the design phase through construction.

• Responsible for coordinating and leading the project production team in developing Live Set and construction documents
• Initiate and develop technical level design concepts and details
• Coordinate consultants’ work and drawings into production set
• Implement firm’s Quality Management checks and ensure comments are incorporated
• Conduct coordination meetings to ensure work from all disciplines is coordinated
• Review specifications in conjunction with the senior project designer
• Provide technical assistance to other team members
• Supervise, prepare, and coordinate the bid documents as required by the contract. Identify and include appropriate documentation
• Ensure EYP standards for construction document production and backups are followed
• Maintain electronic drawing files and project file archives
• Review and develop project work plans with the Project Director
• Prepare the project’s “cartoon/live set”
• Prepare weekly work plan (micro-schedule) for project team members and make recommendations to the project manager relative to staffing needs
• Prepare and coordinate documentation for project review meetings
• Coordinate as required with multiple team members, consultants and other disciplines for project support
• Mentor staff
• Promote technologies and methodologies to create innovative approaches and improve technical quality of work product; keep abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industry
• Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents and ensure integrated design approaches & solutions

• Bachelor’s level professional degree in Architecture is required. An Associate’s degree in architecture with 15+ years of experience would be considered in lieu of bachelor’s.
• 8+ years related experience/training; 15+ years if Associate’s degree
• Ability to apply diverse technical knowledge of architectural design
• Ability to mentor team members
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to use CAD and/or BIM software
• Effective with meeting schedules and delivering results
