Responsibilities

We are currently hiring a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in our DC office. Our office environment offers supportive learning and team-based structure. This is an excellent opportunity in MEP consulting engineering.  At Page, we have great benefits and career-growth opportunities. 

  • Develop MEP construction documentation under the supervision of assigned engineering, design, and BIM staff utilizing primarily and Revit;
  • Create construction models in and Revit as part of a BIM team;
  • Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings;
  • Work from both customer and firm drawings;
  • Perform file management functions such as posting models, downloading model updates, managing links, and historic versioning.
  • CAD and Revit drafting;
  • Provide technical support for existing projects and field service;
  • Attend coordination meetings, communicate with other trades, and create/extract reports as required.

Qualifications

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • EIT certification, or interest in obtaining;
  • Demonstrate knowledge or interest on systems and their installation, with an emphasis on Mechanical installations preferred;
  • Developing knowledge of mechanical system design;
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit;
  • Possess an understanding of drawing and modeling organization, detail, and precision;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
  • Positive attitude and desire to work as part of a team.
