We are currently hiring a BIM Designer in our DC office. Our office environment offers supportive learning and team-based structure. This is an excellent opportunity in MEP consulting engineering.


  • Develop MEP construction documentation under the supervision of assigned engineering, design, and BIM staff utilizing primarily Revit;
  • Create construction models for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Low Voltage disciplines in Revit as part of a BIM team;
  • Perform fundamental design tasks and coordinate with internal Architectural and Engineering disciplines;
  • Work from both customer and firm drawings;
  • Perform file management functions such as posting models, downloading model updates, managing links, and historic versioning.
  • CAD and Revit drafting;
  • Attend coordination meetings, communicate with other trades, and create/extract reports as required.


  • 2-year Associate's Degree in Architectural Technology or an Engineering Technology with a Computer Aided Drafting and Design Certificate a plus;
  • Demonstrate knowledge or interest on architectural engineering systems and their installation;
  • Developing knowledge of MEP engineering system design;
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit;
  • Possess an understanding of drawing and modeling organization, detail, and precision;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
  • Positive attitude and desire to work as part of a team.
