Responsibilities

Page has an opportunity for an Electrical Designer in our Chandler, Arizona office. You will be supporting projects in the semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and high-tech manufacturing facilities. We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits, exciting and high-profile projects to work on as well as the opportunity to work with a talented team across eight domestic locations. 

 

  • Apply engineering principles and practices to diverse design and design/build projects;
  • Support project teams in the execution of projects;
  • Develop electrical designs from concept through construction including preparing one-line/three-line diagrams, circuit schedules and directories, equipment and raceway routing plans, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID), loop wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, sequences of operation, input/output databases, construction specifications and other documentation;
  • Check and correct drawings and associated project paperwork as required;
  • Work closely with project team to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are accurate;
  • Able to perform job walks wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in an operating facility;
  • Candidate must be able to meet badging requirements for client sites, including passing a background check;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 + years of electrical design experience in the semiconductor, oil and gas, or advanced technology manufacturing industry.
  • Experience developing electrical construction documents in compliance with NFPA 70;
  • Experience developing sequence of operations, functional instrument diagrams, P&ID loop schematics, process flow diagrams, electrical schematics in compliance with ISA standards and practice;
  • Experience designing power distribution, lighting and control systems for cleanroom and industrial mechanical HVAC systems;
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office programs;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
