We are currently hiring for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in our Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity in MEP consulting engineering.   • Design drawings based on written and verbal descriptions from design engineers;
  • Set up new Revit MEP projects based on existing project templates;
  • Develop Mechanical construction documentation under supervision of assigned engineering, design, and BIM staff utilizing primarily AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP;
  • Develop Mechanical construction models in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP as part of a BIM team;
  • Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings;
  • Work from both customer and firm drawings;
  • Perform file management functions such as posting models, downloading model updates, managing links, and historic versioning. CAD and Revit drafting;
  • Provide technical support for existing projects and field service;
  • Attend coordination meetings, communicate with other trades, and create/extract reports as required.




  • Four-year bachelors degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or  Two-year technical or associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Construction Technology, Mechanical Technology, or similar;
  • EIT certification, or interest in obtaining;
  • Demonstrate knowledge or interest on MEP systems and their installation, with an emphasis on Mechanical installations preferred;
  • Developing knowledge of mechanical and/or plumbing system design;
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP;
  • Possess an understanding of drawing and modeling organization, detail, and precision;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
  • Positive attitude and desire to work as part of a team.
