Responsibilities

We are seeking an Administrative Project Coordinator to join a national multidisciplinary architectural and engineering firm of 650-plus people and provide project and administrative support for our engineering and architectural team in our Houston office. This position is fast paced and deadline driven. The ideal individual should be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and pay heavy attention to detail.

 

  • Assist project managers and design team with narratives, submittals, specifications, packages, and document control

  • Send drawings or other correspondence to client, consultants, reprographics through various exchange systems

  • Verify proper document delivery for various AHJ (authorities having jurisdiction);
  • Organize and track tasks between disciplines
  • Produce Project Reports
  • Download incoming information for PMs as requested
  • Coordinator office parcels
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Some phone responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience working as an Office Manager or Executive Assistant
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, and have advanced Microsoft Office software skills
  • Must be dependable, well organized, and be able to work independently
  • Outgoing and team-oriented nature with ability to multi-task
  • Though not a prerequisite for employment, you may be asked to submit through our company for a federal government security clearance
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision, preferred
  • Basic AutoCAD and REVIT a plus
