Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of PC hardware components, desktop operating system software and application software
  • Basic knowledge of networking, servers and cyber hygiene
  • Able to maintain complete confidentiality with data
  • Provide desktop technical support to staff in the Washingon D.C. office as well as other Page offices including supporting remote staff
  • Day to day break fix; (troubleshooting, components, installation, adds / moves / changes, user administration, access control);
  • Computer imaging and deployment
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours as needed
  • Knowledge of Autodesk and Bluebeam products a plus
  • Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), building packages and deploying systems a plus

Qualifications

  • One year college level course work and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), CompTIA A+, or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years providing end-user support for current PC desktop and application software OR three years installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing personal computers in an enterprise environment;
  • Expert at providing a high level of customer service in a friendly manner
  • Ability to multitask
  • May sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
  • Able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
  • Reliable transportation needed to travel to and from locations daily
  • Ability to clearly communicate both in person and in writing at various levels of the organization
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Fast study and ability to deal with high stress situations
  • Additional duties, as assigned
  • Must be able to pass a U.S. government security clearance
