Page has an exciting opportunity in our Austin, Texas office for a Project Architect. You will have an opportunity to work across a variety of market sectors including: Corporate Commercial, Healthcare, Science & Technology and similarly complex projects. The ideal candidate will lead large design teams for technically sophisticated projects. This role involves both client and team-facing responsibilities and has tremendous growth potential. 

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting and organizing project design development and production delivery;
  • Identifying and addressing design related issues as well as following protocol and procedures in order to reach the best resolution;
  • Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client;
  • Proficiency in construction administrative processes;
  • Successfully execute projects by following Page’s and Owner’s protocols and procedures in order to reach the best solution; 
  • Working on projects with Client/Owner/Contractor relationships, budget, schedule, code and jurisdictional requirements;
  • Project on-site assistance.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in similarly complex projects across diverse project sectors;
  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited university;
  • License in Architecture;
  • Skilled in architect and detailing skills.
  • Proficiency in construction administrative processes;
  • Proven effectiveness coordinating with contractors, architectural teams, and consultants;
  • Experience with REVIT as well as Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Ability to create construction project documents in all phases in Revit;
  • Successful at leading and organizing a team of multiple disciplines and consultants;
  • Confident with public speaking;
  • Excellent writing skills;  
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills;
  • Experience working with governing authorities on obtaining building permits documenting code review and approvals;
  • Strong architect and detailing skills and proficiency in construction administrative processes;
  • The ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and adjust work accordingly often against fast deadlines.
