Pageimes has an immediate opening for an Electrical Designer in our Chanlder, Arizona office. You will be supporting projects in the Advanced Technology, Mission Critical and Science & Technology market sectors.
Apply engineering principles and practices to diverse design and design/build projects;
Support project team in the execution of projects;
Develop electrical designs from concept through construction including preparing one-line/three-line diagrams, circuit schedules and directories, equipment and raceway routing plans, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID), loop wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, sequences of operation, input/output databases, construction specifications and other documentation;
Check and correct drawings and associated project paperwork as required;
Work closely with project team to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are accurate;
Travel may be required;
Other duties as assigned.
A minimum of five years of experience in electrical design in the semiconductor, oil and gas, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries;
Experience developing electrical construction documents in compliance with NFPA 70;
Experience developing sequence of operations, functional instrument diagrams, P&ID loop schematics, process flow diagrams, electrical schematics in compliance with ISA standards and practice;
Experience designing power distribution, lighting and control systems for cleanroom and industrial mechanical HVAC systems;
Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, NavisWorks, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, MS Office programs;
Must be proficient in communication and organization.
