Responsibilities

We are seeking those with strong imaginations, creativity and desire to make lives better through design!  Currently our studios for Higher Education and Commercial are actively looking for design and leadership talent!

  • Manage one or more small to medium-sized projects and/or manage a portion of a large-sized project
  • Produce and coordinate a complete set of construction documents for permitting and bidding for projects
  • Lead coordination of consultants of all disciplines
  • Lead day-to-day construction administration activities
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of the work performed by support staff
  • Develops trusted relationships with clients

 

Qualifications

 

  • The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years’ experience
  • Experience obtaining Bay Area building permits, documenting code review and approvals
  • Experience with large projects, valued at $20M+; Higher Education and Commercial Experience Preferred
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to successfully lead/organize a complex team of disciplines and consultants
  • Ability to organize project design development and production delivery
  • Ability to identify and address issues following protocol and procedure in order to reach the best resolution
  • Strong architect and detailing skills and proficient in construction administrative processes
  • Self-directed with clear and succinct communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and methods and how it impacts the project
  • LEED Accreditation preferred
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance a plus
