    Responsibilities

    • Designs for audiovisual systems in coordination with telecommunications, electronic security, and the architectural/engineering team;
    • Market Sectors include Academic, Civic / Government, Corporate / Commercial, Healthcare, Housing / Hospitality, Science / Technology;
    • Communicate and coordinate technical design solutions with clients, design teams and vendors;
    • Develop design documents including Drawings, Specifications, Narratives, Calculations, and Reports;
    • Manage junior designers and production;
    • Perform QA/QC reviews;
    • Attend project meetings;
    • Systems include Public Address, conference room AV/teleconferencing, digital signage, video matrices, collaboration AV, educational AV systems;
    • Strong client-facing skills, including business acumen, face-to-face communications, presentation experience, SOW development, and report writing. 

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience designing Audio Visual systems;
    • Avixa CTS-D Certification;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to organize information and present to clients;
    • Ability to empathize and collaborate with non-technical partners;
    • Prioritize work with multiple deadlines;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills;
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and other team members;
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software;
    • Experience with Revit;
    • Travel required.
