    Responsibilities

    The Recruiter/HR Generalist position will have a key role within the HR department as this person will be responsible for the full-life cycle recruting to include posting positions, applicant flow, creative sourcing, pre-screening candidates and partnering with hiring managers through the interview and selection process. Additionally, the recruiter/generalist will work on other HR initiatives and special projects as assigned including and not limited to managing review cycle, project automation, reporting, work visas, etc. 

     

    • Develops and builds relationships with hiring managers in order to better understand their business and the roles within the organization
    • Leads the recruitment and selection process ensuring compliance and cost effectiveness while meeting established metrics
    • Manages the candidate experience so that candidates have a positive impression of the recruitment process including: providing status updates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks
    • May coordinate contingent and retained search firm relationships and placemats
    • Conduct new hire orientation and onboard new employees
    • Oversee and manage the work visa process

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment while focusing on multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Strong communication, organizational and technical skills are a must. In this role, it will be important to work at a high level of discretionand confidentiality. This role will also serve as a partner to project managers, hiring managers and leadership; it will be critical to be a source of accuracy, efficiency and professionalism at all times. 

     

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
    • Experience working in an HR role at an Architecture or Engineering firm is a plus
    • A minimum of 4 years in an Human Resources Generalist role
    • A minimum of 4 years in full life cycle, corporate, recruiting
    • Previous experience providing visa support - both temporary and green card is a plus
    • Working knowledge of applicant tracking tools, iCIMS preferred
    • Working knowledge of FLSA, ADA and FMLA in multiple states
