    Page is seeking an outstanding mid to senior level (4-8 years’ experience) Project Manager for the Interior Design Studio in the Houston office.


    Ideal candidate will have a background in Architecture and Interior Design from a commercial design firm experienced in all phases of design on multiple project types.

    Interior Studio Leadership

    • Mentor and train design team members to advance their project delivery and business skills
    • Foster a culture of excellence in design and management of all types of projects.
    • Foster collaboration and an integrated approach to design management.
    • Promote innovation in all aspects of design.
    • Actively identify research opportunities and ways to set our firm apart from competition through knowledge management and thought leadership.
    • Assist Principal team in balancing work load and staffing resources of the Interiors studio.
    • Assist Principal team in monitoring the firm’s cash flow based on project billings.


    Business Development

    • Contribute to business strategy of the Interiors practice in the Houston marketplace as a leader in interior architecture and workplace design.
    • Work with the firm’s practice group leaders and market sector managers as well as with other Page offices to create new business within Houston, within the state, and across the nation.
    • Leadership in the development of strategy and in the preparation of responses to requests for proposals.
    • Promote and maintain strong client relationships on behalf of Page.


    Project Responsibilities

    • Promote inclusivity and provide clear and consistent communication with all team members including client, consultants and in-house team members
    • Develop and monitor project schedules, always looking ahead for potential problems to ensure timely project delivery
    • Develop project work plans and consistently update them using Vision (the firm’s accounting software)
    • Monitor project performance with respect to profitability and timeliness using firm's project management software
    • Coordinate the work of multiple disciplines/team members/consultants - architecture, FF&E, MEP, Structural, AV, Telecommunications
    • Evaluate team performance, and provide timely, effective feedback to the team
    • Oversee contracts and help manage client expectations
    • Maintain the financial health of projects through timely issue of invoices, monitoring the labor hours spent against the work plan, and reviewing accounts receivables on projects.



    • Ability to work with varied personalities and individual characteristics.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint, InDesign
    • Limited knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD
    • Organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written presentation and graphics skills
    • General knowledge of building materials and systems
    • Working knowledge of building codes and other regulatory requirements
    • Familiarity with the furniture planning and procurement process
    • Conflict resolution skills


    • Professional degree in architecture or interior design
    • Registration as an Architect or Interior Designer
    • Prior experience in an architectural firm in a management, design and/or production role
    • LEED accreditation
